Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while overseeing the implementation process from inception through deployment. The role also includes troubleshooting challenges that arise during development and ensuring the final product aligns with quality standards and client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to meet project goals.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI CO Finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and controlling processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP FI CO modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP FI CO and other SAP modules or external systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP FI CO functionalities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP FI CO Finance.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
