Overview:
The role is for a Microsoft Identity Engineer specializing in Intune and hybrid join implementations within Core Infra IAM operations. The position focuses on designing and delivering enterprise-scale device management and identity solutions, bridging on-premises Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD). The successful candidate will work within the Core Infra IAM team to implement and maintain hybrid identity infrastructure.
Role / Principal Accountabilities:
- The engineering function is responsible for engineering all aspects of core services infrastructure components.
- The candidate must be highly self-motivated team player with good oral and written skills and confidence to present to management.
- The candidate should also have a good sense of discipline for change control procedures.
- A flexible work ethic is required with the ability to form part of a multi-platform global engineering team
Skills & Experience Required:
- Demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a global team, and on their own when required.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Enthusiastic, eager and personable.
- Ability to cope well under pressure.
Essentails:
- Hands-on experience with hybrid Azure AD join implementations
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID integration
- Experience with certificate-based authentication and modern authentication methods
- Proficiency in configuring device compliance policies and conditional access
- Experience with Microsoft Authenticator deployment in hybrid environments
- Operational expertise in Microsoft Intune configuration and management
- Experience in using and developing automation and scripting (PowerShell) to drive efficiencies.
Desirables:
- Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) policies
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
- Experience with Tiered Admin Models in hybrid environments
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Identity Access Management (IAM).
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
