Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific business needs. This role requires acting as the main liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are clearly understood and delivered effectively. The position demands coordinating efforts across different teams, managing timelines, and overseeing the implementation process to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the software solutions. Continuous communication and problem-solving are integral parts of the daily routine to maintain project momentum and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software components, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Strong understanding of production planning processes and discrete manufacturing workflows.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP modules to align with business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to ensure seamless communication between SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within the production planning domain.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
