Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires working closely with project teams to build scalable and efficient applications that meet unique business requirements. Daily activities include collaborating with colleagues to refine software designs, coding new features, and continuously improving existing functionalities to ensure optimal performance and reliability within dynamic project environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Ensure the quality and maintainability of code through thorough testing and documentation.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously explore and implement improvements to development processes and tools.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing software solutions using modern development frameworks.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative development cycles.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues.
- Good understanding of system integration and data flow within enterprise applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
