Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for coordinating efforts across teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth progress and alignment with project goals. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and continuous improvement of application functionalities, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and project understanding.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex Datamart Reporting.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Murex Back Office Workflows.
- Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes within financial software environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize reporting workflows to improve performance and accuracy.
- Familiarity with configuring and customizing reporting tools to meet specific business needs.
- Experience in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective reporting solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Murex Datamart Reporting.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
