About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Instagram Video Editor who is not just an editor, but a creator . Someone who can shoot, edit, and deliver high-performing content using a smartphonefast.

This role is ideal for someone who understands Instagram deeplyReels, hooks, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot Content on Phone Capture high-quality video content using a smartphone (iPhone/Android)
• Handle basic lighting, framing, and composition for Reels & ads
• Work closely with founders/creators to shoot real, relatable content

Edit for Performance (Not Just Aesthetics)

• Edit engaging Instagram Reels (ads + organic)
• Add hooks, captions, cuts, transitions, and sound effects optimized for retention
• Understand pacingespecially first 3 seconds

Content Execution

• Execute 35 videos per day (mix of ads + organic)
• Repurpose content into multiple variations
• Stay updated with trends and adapt them to brand content

Platform Understanding

• Understand what works on Instagram (hooks, storytelling, CTA)
• Ability to study competitors and replicate winning formats

Requirements

• 13 years of experience in shooting & editing Instagram content
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Mobile editing apps (CapCut, VN, InShot, etc.)
• Instagram Reels format & trends
• Proven work in:
• D2C brands / content pages / personal brands
• Ability to shoot + edit independently
• Fast execution mindset (speed matters more than perfection)

Bonus (Good to Have)

• Experience in performance marketing creatives (ads)
• Understanding of UGC-style content
• Basic knowledge of lighting setups & audio recording
• Experience working with founders/influencers on camera
