Position

Consultant Pathologist

Qualification

MD / DNB Pathology from a recognized institute

Fellowship or additional exposure in Hematopathology / Oncopathology will be an added advantage

Experience

38 years of post MD/DNB experience preferred

Experience in corporate or multi-specialty hospital setup preferred

Key Responsibilities

Reporting of Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematology, and Clinical Pathology cases

Interpretation and validation of laboratory investigations

Frozen section reporting and intraoperative consultation when required

Bone marrow reporting exposure preferred

Ensure quality assurance and NABL compliance within laboratory services

Coordination with clinicians for accurate diagnosis and patient management

Participation in tumor boards, multidisciplinary meetings, and academic activities

Supervision and guidance of laboratory technicians and junior staff

Monitoring turnaround time (TAT) and maintaining reporting accuracy

Core Skills Required

Strong diagnostic and reporting skills

Exposure to Histopathology & Cytology reporting

Knowledge of quality protocols and accreditation standards

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a high-volume clinical environment
