Your work profile Mobile Automation SDET Experience Required 36 Years Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Consultant Mobile Automation SDET with 36 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, specializing in Mobile Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Appium for Android and iOS application automation and be capable of designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automation solutions to ensure high-quality mobile application delivery in an Agile environment. Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications using Appium. Develop and maintain reusable and scalable mobile automation frameworks. Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing. Analyze business requirements and identify automation opportunities. Execute automation suites and analyse test execution results Perform API validation using Postman. Identify, log, track, and validate defects using Jira. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to resolve defects. Integrate automation suites with GitHub and Jenkins. Perform code quality checks using SonarQube. Use Charles Proxy for network traffic analysis and debugging. Collaborate with UI/UX teams by validating designs using Figma. Support release activities and deployment validation. Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Contribute to continuous improvements in automation frameworks and quality engineering practices._ Participate in Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and technical discussions. Key skills required Mobile Technology Landscape Expert-level experience with Appium for Android and iOS automation Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Minimum two (2) years of Appium mobile automation or other mobile automation tools like Selenium, though Appium is preferred Minimum One (1) year experience in Native UI test tools such as Espresso and XCUI Minimum One (1) years of device emulation & simulator tools like Perfecto or BrowserStack Minimum three (2) years of Test automation using Java Minimum three (2) years of Test management tools like Qtest or QualityCenter Minimum three (2) years of Defect management tools like JIRA or Rally Minimum three (2) years of API Test / Debugging tools like Postman, etc Functional testing is mandatory MANADATORY Appium & Preferred - XCUITest OR Espresso Good to Have Skills Exposure to release management using Stamps Understanding of Mobile CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of UI validation using Figma Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Soft Skills Technical leadership and mentoring Strong stakeholder and client management Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ownership and decision-making capability Cross-functional collaboration Education Bachelors degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
