Role: Consultant / Sr. Consultant Azure DevOps Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps professional to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This role combines hands-on engineering, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery excellence across enterprise-scale cloud environments. Job Description (JD) Work Youll Do Deliver high-quality DevOps solutions within defined timelines Gather and analyze functional and technical requirements Work across the full software development lifecycle (design, build, deploy, support) Collaborate with onsite/offshore stakeholders and cross-functional teams Conduct peer and team reviews to ensure quality standards Participate in Agile practices (sprint planning, retrospectives, estimation) Drive process improvements, automation, and innovation Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and team capability building Key Responsibilities Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts) and GitHub Actions Provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Ansible Set up Azure Landing Zones and manage scalable cloud environments Configure auto-scaling, deployment automation, and infrastructure provisioning Develop scripts using Python, Shell, PowerShell, YAML, and JSON Deploy and manage microservices on Kubernetes (AKS), including Helm charts and manifests Work with Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Service, Storage, and SQL Database Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights Define and enforce Git branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based development) Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Masters degree (MBA / M.Tech or equivalent) preferred Certifications in Azure, DevOps, or Cloud technologies are strongly preferred Required Skills & Experience 36 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools and services Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible) Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS) Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Understanding of version control (Git) and branching strategies Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) Experience with advanced monitoring and observability tools Exposure to cloud security and compliance practices (IAM, encryption, logging) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities How Youll Grow Connect for Impact Work on enterprise-scale Azure transformation programs with global teams.
