Your work profile We are seeking a skilled and passionate SDET / Automation Test Engineer with 36 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, specializing in Web and API Automation Testing . The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java and API Automation to develop, execute, and maintain scalable automation solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java . Develop and execute API automation test cases using Karate and ReadyAPI/SoapUI . Analyze business and functional requirements to identify automation opportunities. Develop reusable and maintainable automation scripts by leveraging the existing automation framework. Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation test suites. Identify, log, track, and validate software defects using Jira . Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve defects efficiently. Integrate automation test suites with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support continuous testing. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Analyze automation execution results, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis. Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, processes, and test coverage. Execute browser compatibility testing using SauceLabs and Perfecto . Key skills required 3-6 years of exp SQA Automation Engineer (UI + API) Minimum three (3) years experience in automated testing practices (e.g. QTest,Tools Selenium, Karate Framework SoapUI/ReadyAPI, DevTest, Bobcat, Mocha, Saucelabs, Perfecto, Azure Data Studio, Github Actions, Github, Jenkins and Jira etc.) and generating scripts for test automation Minimum one (1) year of debugging code and analytics tags in web or mobile app using Chrome developer, Charles, and other debugging tools One (1) year performing manual QA of digital experiences end to end to pass all test cases One (1) year of debugging code and analytics tags in web or mobile app using Chrome developer, Charles, and other debugging tools One (1) year of monitoring experience performance in tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Blue Triangle One (1) year of experience setting up synthetic monitoring of experiences in tools like Blue Triangle, Dynatrace One (1) year of project management experience, tracking status of open delivery projects, removing blockers, and delivering based on targeted release windows Good to Have Skills Saucelabs Perfecto Chrome DevTools AI / LLM Testing Python / PyTest Knowledge of IoT devices and networking Soft Skills Technical leadership and mentoring Strong stakeholder and client management Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ownership and decision-making capability Collaboration and cross-functional leadership Education Bachelors degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
