Job Overview

This position is responsible for overall construction management at sites where Otis elevators are installed. You will coordinate closely with customers, field partners (installation contractors), and Otis sales representatives, overseeing the entire process from pre-construction meetings through final handover.
Work Flow
Pre-Construction Meeting (Approximately 2 months before start)
- Conduct advance discussions with customers regarding installation details, assembly work, and construction schedules.
Construction Preparation (Approximately 1 month before start)
- Hold site meetings with field partners (installation contractors).
- Arrange necessary equipment and resources for the site.
Construction Start and Execution
- Once construction begins, manage progress across assigned sites.
- For large-scale projects, on-site presence may be required.
Handover
- Perform final inspections prior to customer handover to ensure the product operates correctly and without malfunction.
- Deliver safe and reliable products to customers.
The overall process from pre-meeting to handover typically takes approximately 34 months.

Super Flextime System
Otis operates a flextime system with no core or flexible time restrictions (currently available only at the East Japan Branch [Tokyo] and West Japan Branch [Osaka]).
While hours vary depending on site conditions, there may be days when work concludes earlysuch as leaving at 3:00 PM after completing site work.
Direct Commute to and from Sites
Direct travel to and from job sites is permitted. You can independently plan your site visits and schedule, enabling a high level of flexibility in how you work.

Qualifications
Education / Industry Experience:
- No educational background or industry experience required
Required:
- Valid drivers license (automatic transmission accepted)
- At least 1 year of construction management experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with machinery or equipment installation (e.g., air conditioning systems)
- Experience in facilities-related work
- Welding experience
- Electrician certification
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems

Working Hours & Conditions
- Working Hours: 08:45 17:30
- Overtime: Yes (average 35 hours per month)
- Special Overtime Clause (36 Agreement):
- In cases of tight project schedules or unforeseen circumstances, overtime may be extended up to 75 hours per month and 540 hours per year, up to six times annually.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: JPY 250,000 400,000
- Salary Increase: Yes
- Average increase rate: 4.3% per month (current fiscal year actuals)
- Bonus: Yes
- Total bonus equivalent: 6.239 months salary (previous fiscal year actuals)
Additional Information
- Future relocation may be required (regional assignment system in place)
- Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and previous salary
- Paid leave is granted upon joining; previous entitlement will be considered
- Company-wide average paid leave taken in FY20245: 14 days
