Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 4+ years of professional experience working as a CAD administrator or similar role.
  • Hands-on expertise with the Autodesk software suite, including, but not limited to, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, Navisworks, Revit, Robot, and Vault.
  • Experience working with and/or administering other CAD platforms (i.e. Bentley, PTC, and/or SOLIDWORKS) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong initiative and self-directed attitude with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and willingness to engage with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience developing extensibilities for Autodesk products, with preference for Plant 3D, Inventor, and/or Vault is a plus.
  • Experience developing and supporting parametric models using iLogic and/or third-party configurators (i.e. Tacton) is a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to end-users for all CAD software across the enterprise.
  • Plan and support Autodesk implementations and upgrades, including configuration, maintenance, and user support.
  • Lead development and standardization of CAD processes across the enterprise.
  • Develop, document, and enforce CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and IT teams to optimize CAD workflows, improve collaboration, and support project delivery.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to promote self-sufficiency and knowledge sharing among users.
  • Support integration efforts between CAD software and other enterprise systems (i.e. Costpoint ERP, document management systems, etc.).
