Computer Aided Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop plastic components using Creo (Parametric).
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed engineering documentation.
• Perform DFM/DFA analysis for injection-molded plastic parts.
• Work closely with tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
• Handle design changes and engineering change requests (ECR/ECO).
• Ensure designs meet customer and industry standards.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in CAD design using Creo.
• Strong experience in Plastic Part Design (Injection Molding).
• Knowledge of plastic materials, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Understanding of tooling concepts and mold design basics.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Windchill or other PLM tools.
• Exposure to automotive, medical, or consumer products domains.
• Basic knowledge of validation and testing processes.
