Computer Aided Design Designer

Were looking for a skilled CAD Designer / Mechanical Engineer to work on the design of a planetary gearbox system for an electric mobility application.

Project Overview

• Design a planetary gearbox
• To be coupled with a BLDC motor
• Target output: ~600 Nm peak torque (real-world)
• The gearbox will:
• Take input directly from the motor shaft
• Deliver output to a differential system
• Enable 90-degree torque transmission across two sides

Responsibility

• Design the complete planetary gearbox assembly in any CAD Software
• Optimize for:
• efficiency
• durability
• manufacturability
• Perform simulations to validate:
• torque output (~600 Nm)
• system efficiency
• Ensure compatibility with:
• motor shaft interface
• differential integration

Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience in gearbox / transmission design
• Proficiency in Mechanical software (CAD + simulation)
• Understanding of:
• planetary gear systems
• torque multiplication
• mechanical efficiency losses
• Prior experience in EV / automotive systems is a plus
