Completion Engineer

About the Role

To assist the Head Drilling in all aspects of well completion engineering, particularly in the areas of front-end engineering (planning and designing of Sand Face Completion), costing and long lead items planning and execution of completions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute well completion operations safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Perform engineering analysis (e.g., sand face completion design, tubing stress, hydraulics) to optimize well performance and minimize risks (ALARP).
• Support preparation and evaluation of technical scopes, contracts, and third-party services.
• Develop well programs, schedules, cost estimates (AFE), and technical documentation.
• Monitor and analyze completion performance using models and software (e.g., Landmark).
• Lead/participate in CWOP meetings, risk assessments, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain well records, compile final reports, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Preferred

5+ years of relevant work experience in Completion well planning, designing

and well operations.

Must have experience in designing and executing OHGP and CHGP

operations.

Demonstrated experience dealing with Service providers and Completion

contractors.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Work experience in a multicultural and changing environment
