Job Description

5–12 years of experience in enterprise data protection or backup architecture.

Strong expertise in Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery.

Experience deploying backup solutions across multiple global regions.

Deep understanding of DDB architecture, performance tuning, and storage backends.

Hands‑on experience with Hyperscale X appliances.

Solid knowledge of VMware environment protection strategies.

Experience with WAN‑optimized backup configurations.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts related to backups.

Architect and deploy Commvault solutions for large, distributed enterprise environments (2000+ clients).

Design CommServe, Media Agent, DDB layout, and global deployment topology.

Lead end‑to‑end implementation, migration, configuration, and validation activities.

Develop deployment playbooks, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

Perform health checks, scalability assessments, failover testing, and performance optimization.

Perform detailed sizing for Media Agents, Disk Libraries, DDBs, and storage pools.

Optimize deduplication engine performance based on client count and data types.

Forecast storage consumption, retention needs, and DDB growth across global sites.

Evaluate and recommend licensing models based on data workloads and business needs.

Track license usage, capacity trends, and compliance.
