Role Overview
Were looking for a dynamic and people-first Community Manager to build, engage, and grow the Blix community. This role sits at the intersection of engagement, content, and marketing ideal for someone who loves interacting with people and creating meaningful experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement
Manage and actively engage the Blix WhatsApp community
Foster discussions, respond to queries, and build strong relationships with members
Ensure the community remains active, positive, and value-driven
- Challenges & Gamification
Design and execute weekly challenges for community members
Evaluate submissions, select winners, and define rewards/prizes
Build and manage a structured points and rewards system for members
- Content & Communication
Keep the community updated on all key Blix happenings (product launches, events, stories, etc.)
Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging
- Systems & Leaderboards
Create and maintain leaderboards to drive engagement
Develop systems for tracking participation, points, and rewards
- Events & Experiences
Plan and execute online and offline community events
Coordinate logistics, communication, and post-event engagement
- Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with performance marketing and social media teams
Align community initiatives with broader marketing goals
Who You Are
- A natural communicator who is well-spoken and articulate
- Highly social, energetic, and people-oriented
- Someone who enjoys building and nurturing communities
- Organized and proactive, with the ability to take ownership
- Creative thinker with a knack for engagement and gamification
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community management, social media, or related roles
- Experience managing online communities (WhatsApp, Discord, etc.) is a strong plus
- Strong coordination and execution skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Bonus Points If You
- Have experience working with student communities
- Enjoy DIY, building, or hands-on learning
- Have previously run challenges, competitions, or events
