Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai. The Commodity Trader will be responsible for executing trades in commodity markets, analyzing market trends, and implementing hedging strategies to manage risks. The role also includes developing and maintaining strong client relationships, negotiating contracts, and contributing to the sales and financial performance of the organization. Continuous market research and strategy development will be essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of Trading and Commodity Markets (Basemetals)
• Knowledge of Finance principles and experience with Hedging strategies
• Effective Sales skills and client relationship management abilities
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and act on market trends
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in relevant analytical tools or software is a plus
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Prior experience in commodity trading is an advantage
