Commodity Accountant

We are looking for a commodity accountant for Kolkata Location with 3-7 years of experience and a Graduates and Semi Qualified CA any other relevant degree who is responsible for accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of commodity transactions. This role supports trading, operations, and finance functions to ensure timely and correct accounting of commodity movements, valuations, and settlements in compliance with internal controls from the manufacturing, agriculture, steel mining industries as such.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile commodity purchases, sales, transfers, and journal entries for physical and financial trades
• Prepare monthly MIS and validate schedules reports
• Supporting financial close processes including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
