About the Role:

As a Commis Chef/Kitchen Assistant, you will mainly be involved in developing exciting new recipes that will be programmed onto our cooking robot Posha. Additionally, we also expect you to help our team with recipe preparation. Dont worry, youre not just going to be an extra pair of hands on board!

What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha :

1. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the kitchen operations team in recipe testing.
2. You will be responsible for procuring ingredients for recipe testing.
3. You will be responsible for prepping ingredients for recipe testing.
4. You will be responsible for cleaning up after every Posha recipe trial, and maintaining the sanctity of the kitchen.
5. You will be responsible for taking recipe notes in written, video, and image formats.
6. Testing an re-testing multiple software and hardware features.

What makes you a match for us:

• Degree in Culinary Arts/Relevant work experience.
• Have at least 1 year of experience working in a kitchen. Freshers also can apply.
• Understand the basic science of cooking and are comfortable with tech gadgets inside the kitchen.
• Has basic computer knowledge.
• Has drive and willingness to learn and contribute to the team (crucial).
• Does not shy away from doing the grunt work of prepping, cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen (crucial).

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is comfortable working in a small kitchen and has the zeal to learn and adapt. Someone who likes to think out of the box with respect to food. And most importantly, is ready to do any work in a kitchen.
