About R&D:

The R&D organization at ANSR MedTech is being built to support the development, testing, and long-term sustainment of complex, regulated products used at global scale.

This team plays a critical role in engineering excellence, product quality, and operational reliability, working closely with global R&D leaders to deliver against well-defined technical standards, quality systems, and product outcomes.

Unlike a traditional offshore or support model, R&D in India is designed to take on meaningful ownership across the product lifecycle, particularly in areas where scale, focus, and execution discipline are essential.

How the R&D Team Operates:

  • Teams are based in India and embedded in day-to-day delivery, not isolated support functions.
  • Technical direction, quality standards, and product outcomes are globally aligned, with strong local execution and accountability.
  • The organization is built under a BuildOperateTransfer (BOT) model with ANSR, with responsibilities expanding as the site matures.
  • Success is measured by engineering quality, predictable delivery, adherence to quality systems, reduced defects over time, and strong collaboration with global R&D teams.


Position Summary:

The Analyst Commercial Analytics will support commercial and growth decision making by delivering analytics across sales performance, pricing, demand planning, and market insights. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting, and insight generation to enable actionable recommendations for commercial and business stakeholders.

This position combines analytical rigor with business understanding to support growth initiatives, operational planning, and performance tracking across commercial functions.


Key Responsibilities:

Business & Commercial Analytics:

  • Analyze sales, pricing, demand, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Support pricing analysis, demand planning, and capacity evaluation through structured data analysis
  • Conduct market research to support commercial strategy, launch planning, and growth initiatives


Dashboards & Reporting:

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Track commercial KPIs and performance metrics for regular business reviews
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clear visualization of insights


Data Analysis & Statistical Modeling:

  • Perform data and statistical analysis using structured analytical approaches
  • Apply Python based analysis using Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit learn where required
  • Support forecasting, scenario analysis, and hypothesis testing


Data Preparation & Tooling:

  • Query and analyze data using SQL across structured datasets
  • Support data preparation, transformation, and validation activities
  • Collaborate with senior analysts, managers, and data teams to ensure analytical readiness


Business Support & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Translate analytical outputs into clear insights and recommendations
  • Partner with commercial and analytics teams to support decision making
  • Contribute to presentations and materials for stakeholder and leadership discussions


Qualifications:

Must Have Skills & Experience:

  • 35+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business analytics, or data analytics
  • Strong grounding in data analysis and statistical analysis
  • Hands on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboards and reporting
  • Experience in market research, pricing analysis, demand planning, and capacity evaluation
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit learn)
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis


Good to Have / Preferred Experience:

Exposure to data engineering concepts, including:

  • ETL pipelines
  • Data cleaning and transformation
  • Automated reporting workflows
  • Experience working with large, multi-source commercial datasets
  • Prior exposure to Pharma, Healthcare, FMCG, or similarly data intensive domains


Success Measures:

  • Accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs
  • Adoption of dashboards and insights by commercial stakeholders
  • Timely delivery of analyses supporting growth and commercial decisions
  • Contribution to improved pricing, demand planning, and performance outcomes
