Job Description

Purpose:

The Cluster School Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the school's educational programs, ensuring quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role involves frequent engagement with School Leaders, School Core Group, teaching staff, monitoring sessions, and maintaining program integrity.


Work Location: Pune


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular lesson observations to assess teaching quality and curriculum implementation.
  • Attend and support weekly micro-teaching sessions to enhance instructional effectiveness.
  • Participate in weekly contact sessions and provide feedback and guidance to teachers.
  • Perform notebook audits to ensure quality, completeness, and consistency of student work.
  • Maintain and review weekly academic and operational trackers.
  • Support end-to-end teacher recruitment activities for assigned schools.
  • Facilitate induction and onboarding programs for newly hired teachers.
  • Organize and deliver school-specific training and professional development programs throughout the year.
  • Coordinate with University and ensure effective execution of planned activities and calendars.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of academic and co-curricular school programs.
  • Oversee the functioning of the Centre of Well Being (COWB) and support inclusive education initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on school performance, operations, and progress.
  • Conduct comprehensive school audits twice annually and recommend improvement measures.
  • Keep admission counselors updated on school initiatives, achievements, and developments.
  • Support the successful implementation and rollout of the Aspire Explore Program.


Experience and Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching experience up till grade 10 is mandatory
  • Prior experience in educational program coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational, communication and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other stakeholders.
