Job Title: Cloud & Storage Security Engineer (AWS)

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune / Chennai (India)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cloud & Storage Security Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services and offshore storage platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance, monitoring, and governance across environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Security & Governance

• Implement and manage security controls using AWS IAM and Service Control Policies (SCPs)
• Perform continuous security analysis using AWS IAM Access Analyzer
• Manage encryption and key lifecycle using AWS Key Management Service
• Configure and maintain web application protection using AWS WAF
• Conduct vulnerability assessments with Amazon Inspector

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design and manage scalable infrastructure using Amazon EC2 and Auto Scaling Groups
• Configure networking components including Amazon VPC, subnets, route tables, and NAT Gateways
• Manage DNS and traffic routing using Amazon Route 53

Storage & Database Management

• Administer storage services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EBS
• Manage relational databases using Amazon RDS
• Handle offshore storage systems including NetApp and DFS (Distributed File Systems)

Automation & Monitoring

• Develop automation workflows using AWS Lambda
• Use AWS Systems Manager for operational management and patching
• Monitor and audit environments using AWS CloudTrail

Governance & Multi-Account Management

• Implement governance frameworks using AWS Control Tower
• Manage multi-account environments using AWS Organizations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 48 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / Cloud Security
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and security services
• Experience with IAM policies, SCPs, and access governance
• Solid understanding of networking (VPC, subnets, routing, NAT)
• Experience with storage platforms like NetApp and distributed file systems
• Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, and risk management

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Security Specialty, etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Experience in enterprise or offshore environments

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
