Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description:

Experience: 5- 9 years

Location: Bangalore, Banaswadi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud security controls and reference architectures for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, ensuring alignment with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
• Perform Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), continuously monitoring for misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps across multi-cloud deployments.
• Lead the development and maintenance of security standards, guidelines, and strategies for secure cloud adoption and usage.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews for cloud-based solutions and third-party integrations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and others relevant to cloud operations.
• Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud security technologies, including Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Identity and Access Management (IAM), virtualization security, and cloud-native security tools.
• Respond to RFI/RFPs and internal/external audits by providing detailed documentation and evidence of cloud security controls and compliance posture.
• Develop and deliver cloud security awareness training and technical briefings for stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay current on evolving cloud security threats, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the organizations cloud security posture.
