As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. The position demands coordination with various stakeholders to implement cloud technologies that support advanced business objectives and foster innovation. The engineer continuously monitors progress and adapts plans to meet evolving requirements, contributing to the successful transformation of enterprise systems to cloud platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud migration strategies ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align migration activities with organizational goals and timelines.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices related to cloud migration and infrastructure management.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Good To Have Skills: Oracle Database Cloud Services, Oracle Database Architecture.
- Strong expertise in database performance tuning and optimization within cloud environments.
- Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for cloud-based databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide effective solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure components and integration with database systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
