Key Responsibilities

• Support Lead Engineers in vehicle development and validation activities across respective engineering domains.
• Create, review, and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) and test plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT), suppliers, and testing agencies for development activities.
• Organize in-house and outsourced testing activities including component procurement, test planning, and execution.
• Conduct component, subsystem, and vehicle-level testing and validation.
• Participate in engineering design reviews from concept stage through production release.
• Analyze test data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Raise engineering concerns and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support benchmarking activities and target setting for vehicle systems.
• Develop new engineering concepts and prototype solutions.
• Source/fabricate prototype parts and support test rig development.
• Create and update test methods and engineering documentation.
• Support development timing plans aligned with project gateways and milestones.
• Balance engineering targets related to cost, quality, timing, performance, and manufacturability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 310 years of experience in Automotive Product Development and Validation
• Strong exposure to vehicle development processes and engineering validation activities
• Experience in testing automotive components, structures, systems, or vehicles
• Good understanding of production processes and automotive engineering standards

Hands-on experience with:

• CATIA V5
• PLM tools
• GD&T
• Test rig development
• Data acquisition and analysis
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in passenger vehicle programs
• Exposure to EV/BEV development projects
• Knowledge of automotive validation standards and DVP processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced OEM environment
• Strong coordination skills with suppliers and cross-functional teams
