Position: Merchandiser/ Category Manager - Bedsheets/ Home Textiles
Job Description
You will be responsible for planning, sourcing and developing products of our home category - Bedsheets, Curtains, Towels, Cushions & Comforters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product development, vendor pre-selection, negotiation, and final shipments.
- Source and negotiate with suitable suppliers/ factories to offer the best products at best conditions as per brands requirements.
- Manage the ordering process, to ensure proper preparation of orders and related documents, to ensure smooth request-to-shipment execution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelors degree in Fashion/ Textile Management, Textile Design/ Technology or equivalent. Total Work Experience: 5 to 8 Years Required.
- At least 3 years experience in Home Category product sourcing (Bedsheets, Curtains & Towels). Prior experience in a buying office is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of fabrics, safety, quality and testing requirements for the category.
- Can develop Vendors in Ahmedabad and Jaipur
- Customer-oriented with good communication skills.
