Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into BPMN workflows using Camunda (preferably Camunda 8)
- Design and implement end-to-end process orchestration
- Build and maintain service integrations (APIs, event-driven systems)
- Develop and manage Zeebe workers / microservices (Java, Node.js, or Python)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine workflows and identify edge cases
- Analyze and improve existing workflows for efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Implement error handling, retries, and compensation logic
- Ensure data consistency and idempotent process execution
- Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in workflow design
- Work closely with data/analytics teams to enable process observability
Required Skills
- Years of experience: 5yrs-8yrs
- Strong experience with Camunda (7 or 8) and BPMN 2.0 (preferably Camunda 8)
- Solid backend development experience (Java / Python)
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and event-driven architectures
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with workflow orchestration patterns (sagas, retries, async processing)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Zeebe workers and Camunda 8 stack
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and analytics tools
- Understanding of financial workflows (AR, billing, reconciliation)
