The Role

We're looking for a sharp, relationship-driven Brand Development Manager to own the end-to-end brand partnership lifecycle at ZADE from first outreach to seamless onboarding and ongoing brand success. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of luxury, culture, and commerce.

What You'll Own

Brand Outreach & Partnerships

Identify, research, and initiate outreach to curated sustainable Indian brands aligned with ZADE's curation standards

Build and nurture long-term relationships with brand founders, creative directors, and key decision-makers

Represent ZADE at industry events, trade shows, and BNI-style networking forums

Contracts & Negotiations

Manage brand partnership agreements from draft to execution

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and legal counsel to ensure clauses around commission, pricing, performance, and IP are correctly reflected

Maintain a live contracts tracker and flag renewals, amendments, and compliance milestones

Brand Onboarding

Own the full onboarding journey for every partner brand documentation, cataloguing, brand kit collection, platform setup, and go-live

Act as the primary SPOC for new brands during their first 90 days on the platform

Collaborate with the tech and content teams to ensure brand pages are accurate, on-brand, and live on time

Inventory & Catalogue Management

Coordinate with brands on stock availability, seasonal drops, and catalogue updates

Maintain inventory accuracy across the platform in collaboration with the operations team

Flag low-stock, delayed listings, or catalogue gaps proactively

Freelancer & Creative Network

Maintain a robust network of trusted freelancers photographers, stylists, copywriters, videographers for brand shoots and content needs

Brief, coordinate, and quality-check freelancer deliverables on behalf of partner brands

What We're Looking For

25 years in brand partnerships, business development, account management, or luxury retail

Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication you can hold a room and write an email that gets a reply

Proven experience managing contracts and understanding commercial terms

Organised, process-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple brands simultaneously

Genuine appreciation for Indian craft, sustainable fashion, and the luxury space

Proficiency with AI tools Claude, ChatGPT, and similar to research, draft, and accelerate your work

Comfortable working on Slack for team communication and project coordination

Freelancer network in photography, styling, or content is a strong plus
