Title: Bigdata Support

Location: Hyderabad, (Work From office 5 days a week)

About Role:


We are looking for a Big Data Application Support Engineer responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting Big Data jobs, pipelines, and applications running on AWS/Snowflake/Hadoop/Spark environments. The role focuses on job support, incident handling, RCA, access management, and coordination with engineering team

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring & Job Support

Monitor Big Data jobs and workflows (Spark,Rundeck).

Handle job failures, restarts, and coordinate with engineering teams for fixes.

Track SLA adherence and escalate issues proactively.


Incident & Service Request Management

Respond to alerts, incidents, and tickets in ServiceNow/Jira.

Perform firstlevel RCA and document findings.

Handle user access requests, role modifications, and environment onboarding.


Data & Platform Support

Basic troubleshooting of Spark jobs (logs, error messages, Yarn/S3 issues).

Validate data loads and ensure pipeline completeness.



Operations & Documentation

Follow runbooks and SOPs for daily checks and routine activities.

Maintain clear documentation for incidents, resolutions, and repetitive issues.

Support deployment activities under engineering guidance.



Required Skills & Experience:

Basic understanding of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, kafka, Spark concepts).

SQL knowledge for data validation and debugging.

Familiarity with AWS basics (S3, IAM concepts).

Understanding of schedulers like Airflow / Oozie / Rundeck.

Strong analytical and communication skills.
