Big Data Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Developer with strong expertise in Java, Apache Spark, PL/SQL, and Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate should have 69 years of IT experience with hands-on development exposure in large-scale data processing systems. Banking domain experience is mandatory.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions to support enterprise banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Big Data applications using Java and Apache Spark
• Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data sets
• Build data pipelines and ensure high-performance data processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, QA, and DevOps
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with banking standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices

Key Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on experience in Java
• Expertise in Apache Spark (Core, SQL)
• Strong experience in PL/SQL
• Experience working with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop/HDFS)
• Good understanding of data processing and ETL concepts
