Job Title: Child Psychologist/ Behavioral Therapist

Location: Thamarassery, Kozhikode /Bangalore (HSR/Whitefield)

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 1-5 year (Only experienced)

Education: Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Child Psychology


Job Summary:

Orange Child Development Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for children with emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and developmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and developmental evaluations for children with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities).
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Provide counseling and therapy for children dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, special educators, and pediatricians for holistic child development.
  • Offer parental guidance and counseling to support family involvement in therapy.
  • Maintain detailed case records and progress reports.
  • Conduct workshops, awareness programs, and training sessions for parents, teachers, and caregivers.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in child psychology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Child Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in handling children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders.
  • Proficiency in various therapy techniques such as CBT, Play Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and Family Counseling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a deep passion for child development.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

  • Certification in Play Therapy or Behavioral Therapy.
  • Experience working in child development centers, schools, or hospitals.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
