Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance applications from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a hands-on coder with strong expertise across both frontend and backend technologies, and a mindset geared toward leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate development and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python, FastAPI, and Flask

Write optimized SQL queries and improve database performance

Strong proficiency in REST APIs and Microservice design

Implement asynchronous/background processing using Celery / Asyncio

Integrate caching solutions like Redis for performance optimization

Implement JWT/OAuth-based authentication and role-based authorization

Handle exception management, logging, debugging, and production issue resolution

Optimize APIs for scalability, reliability, and high concurrency

Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams for integration and deployment

Follow best practices in clean coding, security, and backend architecture

Good to Have

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

Knowledge of Microservices Architecture

Exposure to Kafka / RabbitMQ

Familiarity with AWS / Azure / GCP
