About the Role

Elucidata is seeking a skilled, motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software systems that solve complex problems, writing clean and efficient code with strong test coverage, and improving existing systems. You will work with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, participate in design discussions, and review code. This role offers an opportunity to work on generative AI, cloud infrastructure, and web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build impactful solutions.

What Youll Own

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Python, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, other engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Develop efficient and optimized APIs and microservices to support various frontend applications and external integrations.
• Implement data models, database schemas, and perform database optimizations to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-6 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Python, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elastic Search, and other relevant backend technologies.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, LangChain
• Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Experience with message queues, caching mechanisms, and other backend optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience in building and integrating APIs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality software solutions within deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Good to have

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).
• Experience with CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Exposure to ETL, Data Lake, and data warehousing pipelines.
