Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build high-performance APIs and services.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 48 years of experience in backend development experience;
• Must have experience in Java (Spring Boot) / Node.js / .NET Core;
• Must experience with microservices architecture;
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API security (OAuth, JWT);
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Desired Skill-set

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ);
• Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Experience in General Insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Develop scalable backend systems to support core business functionalities;
• Integrate applications with third-party services such as payment gateways and CRM platforms;
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and security;
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders;
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices;
• Diagnose and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
