We are looking for a Backend Developer with 1+ years of experience (including internships or projects) in Python and Django. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building APIs and working with databases, and be eager to grow in a collaborative environment. You'll be part of a development team working on building robust APIs, managing databases, and contributing to scalable backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend features using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Design and build RESTful APIs with CRUD functionality, pagination, and filtering
• Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL using Django ORM and migrations
• Integrate third-party APIs and handle data securely and efficiently
• Implement authentication systems including session-based, JWT, and OAuth2 flows
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth API integration
• Use Git for version control and team collaboration
• Debug issues, validate input data, and ensure robust error handling
• Follow clean coding practices and participate in code reviews if required
• Contribute to performance improvements and scalability of backend systems

Skills & Qualifications:Must-Have:

• Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP, exception handling, and modular code design
• Experience working with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Understanding of API concepts, HTTP methods, status codes, and data serialization
• Knowledge of Django components: models, serializers, class-based views, forms, and middleware
• Familiarity with Django admin customization
• Basic knowledge of Celery for background task processing
• Understanding of Redis for caching
• Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and writing efficient ORM queries
• Basic experience in API testing tools like Postman
• Comfortable with Git (commits, branches, merges) and using GitHub or GitLab
• Exposure to user authentication systems (login, logout, registration, and permissions)

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Docker and deployment to platforms like AWS
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, environment variables, and settings management
• Ability to write basic unit tests and follow debugging practices
