- 1-3+ Years of Automated Testing/Development experience including at least 2 years of experience in Python
- Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise/Understanding of Containers and Storage technology, Backup products, Agile methodology.
- Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming: Familiarity with developing using object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and concurrency.
- Experience with Python, Selenium and other testing tools/techniques
- Test automation and Software Development Knowledge: Exposure to designing, developing, testing, and delivering software, including open source software.
- Open Source Community Involvement: Experience working effectively with open source communities for Systems, including driving community best practices in IBM processes.
- Test automation development and functional testing
- Develop test plans and execution plans as per the feature requirement
- Implement features given by Architects and Leads
- Execute tests as scheduled test runs on various support platforms
- Perform manual testing as needed
- Report and verify defects identified via automated and manual testing
- Work with lead to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverable
- Participate in code reviews and ensure quality of code.
- Test automation and framework development with Python along with functional testing experience
- K8S and OpenShift Development experience
- Open Source Software Development: Exposure to designing, developing, and delivering open source software, including working effectively with open source communities for Systems.
- Storage domain experience is plus
