Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable systems, ensuring high performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Design and implement scalable and secure server-side applications
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the backend system
• Maintain code quality, organization, and documentation
• Work with databases to design, query, and optimize data storage
• Assist in deployment and monitoring of applications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 12 years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency programming language: Python
• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or Express.js
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker or containerization
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of caching and message queues (Redis, Kafka, etc.)
• Interest or exposure to AI/ML-based applications
