Back End Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and AWS cloud services to build and scale our next-generation platforms. You will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using a serverless architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Lead and mentor a team of backend developers
• Build and manage serverless applications on AWS
• Architect and implement the system on AWS cloud services.
• Must have experience on AWS services like Lambda, API gateway, S3, DynamoDB, AWS Cognito, SQS, SNS.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize systems using CloudWatch
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of backend systems
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making

Required Skills & Experience

• 710 years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Hands-on experience with AWS architecture
• Deep understanding of:

API Gateway

Lambda

DynamoDB

S3

SQS / SNS

Cognito

• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Strong understanding of database design and data modeling
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, JWT, encryption)
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and debugging in cloud environments
