Job Summary:

As a Node.js Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services for our online gaming platform. Your role will involve developing APIs, managing databases, implementing game logic, and ensuring the platform's performance and security. You will collaborate with game developers, frontend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js for slot and casino games.

Design RESTful and WebSocket APIs to enable real-time communication between the game frontend and backend systems.

Implement game logic & payout mechanisms following industry standards.

Integrate third-party services like payment gateways, analytics, and authentication systems.

Collaborate with game developers, frontend engineers, and product managers to define backend requirements.

Optimize backend systems for high availability, scalability, and low latency to support a large number of concurrent users.

Ensure data integrity and compliance with gambling regulations and security standards (e.g., encryption, GDPR).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and asynchronous programming.

Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication.

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

Understanding of game logic development and payout algorithms.

Experience with real-time systems and optimizing backend performance for gaming applications.

Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in production.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Unity) for better collaboration with frontend teams.
