Role Description

Job Title: Backend Engineer Python & Applied ML

Location: Noida, India

Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Python & Applied ML to join our product engineering team in Noida. This role is primarily focused on building production-grade backend systems, data pipelines, and AI/ML-powered features, with the ability to handle frontend work (React / Next.js) when required. The ideal candidate should be strong in Python backend development, have practical exposure to machine learning/NLP, and be capable of making end-to-end feature contributions including basic frontend updates.

Design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend APIs and services

Build backend systems using Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks)

Develop and maintain data pipelines and processing workflows

Work on AI/ML-powered product features, including:

NLP-based processing

classification / clustering

embeddings and vector-based workflows

LLM-integrated backend logic

Contribute to frontend development where required using:

React / Next.js

UI updates, integrations, and bug fixes

Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable product features end-to-end

Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend and related frontend components

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams for feature delivery

45 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development

Strong experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks

Working knowledge of React / Next.js for frontend development

Good understanding of:

REST APIs

async processing / background jobs

backend architecture and service design

data pipelines and processing workflows

Practical understanding of Machine Learning / NLP concepts

Experience working on applied AI/ML use cases such as:

text classification

clustering

embeddings

semantic search

LLM-based workflows

Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Experience with:

Kafka

Elasticsearch

ClickHouse

Qdrant / Vector DB

PostgreSQL

Exposure to:

OpenAI / LLM APIs

prompt orchestration / AI integrations

Familiarity with system design and event-driven architectures
