Job Title: Mid-Level Backend Engineer (Node.js)

Location: Bangalore (3 days Work From Office and 2 days Work From Home)

Role Overview-

We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer with strong experience in the Node.js stack, backend APIs, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable backend services, working with modern cloud platforms, and integrating US fintech APIs such as Plaid or similar financial services.

Key Responsibilities-

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js

Build scalable REST APIs and microservices

Work with MongoDB and other backend databases

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)

Work with AWS and/or GCP cloud infrastructure

Integrate with US fintech APIs (Plaid, payment systems, banking integrations, etc.)

Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems

Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams

Participate in code reviews and maintain strong engineering practices

Required Skills & Experience-

36 years of backend development experience

Strong experience with Node.js backend stack

Experience with MongoDB

Experience building REST APIs and microservices

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications

Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)

Experience with Kubernetes / EKS

Experience integrating US fintech APIs such as Plaid, payment processors, or banking APIs

Understanding of security and compliance considerations in fintech systems
