Role - Backend Engineer

Location - Bangalore (on site)

Our voice agents are designed to efficiently handle tasks such as query resolution, order confirmation, delivery scheduling, lead qualification, follow-ups, candidate screening, and interview coordination. With rapid deployment and seamless integration, helps teams in logistics, e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing drive efficiency, improve customer experience, and scale operations intelligently.

ROLE SUMMARY -

Own the backend services that power real-time voice workflows and product APIs. This role is about low latency, high reliability, and shipping fast, with heavy use of AI-assisted coding baked into how you work every day.

Stack: Python, FastAPI, Postgres, Redis, Azure, GCP

RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Build Python services using FastAPI for customer-facing and internal APIs
• Design systems for call orchestration, routing, retries, and event-driven state handling
• Improve latency and reliability, measure p95 and p99, and ship changes that actually move those numbers
• Build robust integrations, handle edge cases well, and bring failure rates down consistently
• Own observability, get to the root of production issues quickly, and put long-term fixes in place, not just patches

MUST HAVE -

• 2 to 4 years of backend experience with Python, FastAPI is preferred
• Strong fundamentals in HTTP, WebSockets, queues, and distributed systems
• Experience building production systems that handle concurrency, scale, and failure modes without falling over
• Strong debugging, performance profiling, and database query tuning skills
• Ownership mindset, you do not wait to be told something is broken

NICE TO HAVE -

• Experience with low-latency or real-time systems, streaming, or event-driven architectures
• Voice AI exposure, including ASR, TTS, VAD, and conversation state management
• Multi-cloud experience across Azure and GCP
