Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) to design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of modern data ecosystems, data modeling, and cloud-native solutions, and will play a key role in defining enterprise data strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions on Azure (primary) and/or AWS/GCP
- Develop scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Architect solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Databricks (or AWS/GCP equivalents)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency
- Lead data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and metadata management
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and disaster recovery of data systems
- Provide technical leadership and best practices for cloud data architecture
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in big data, analytics, and cloud computing
