Responsibilities

As an AVP - Cyber Security, you will:

• Lead Security Strategies: Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks in alignment with regulatory standards and business objectives.
• Data Privacy Advocate: Ensure robust compliance with data privacy laws ensuring security of sensitive customer and organizational data.
• Risk Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities and assess potential risks and security threats in relation to business assets and systems.
• Incident Management: Establish and manage incident response plans to address cybersecurity incidents effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity objectives are integrated with the financial services processes.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and secure culture.
• Vendor Management: Assess and manage third-party cybersecurity solutions and service collaborations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security roles, primarily within Financial Services.
• Proven expertise in areas such as Data Privacy, Threat Management, and Compliance Standards (GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, methodologies, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or CEH are a strong advantage.
• A passion for fostering secure digital ecosystems and adapting to the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape.
