AVP Sales main responsibility will be new client acquisition and growth of business numbers. Qualifications:-
Graduate in any discipline, MBA is preferred.
Minimum 12 + years of experience in group insurance sales affinity, partnerships, alternate
channels in South India.
Proven track record of hunting and onboarding in MFI /RRB /NBFC /Cooperatives/Fintech
players in South India.
Expert in credit life insurance and group health. In depth understanding of general insurance
products.
Excellent communication skills, Customer-centric focus, Team player
Technology enthusiast.
Detail oriented and knowledge of insurance regulation and cocompliance
Willingness to travel extensively.
What Youll Do (Your Key Responsibilities & KPIs)
Responsible for new client acquisition, business development & sales of group insurance
products to financial institutions, including NBFC, SFB, MFI, Fintech, Payment companies,
Cooperatives, etc.
Responsible for structuring end to end solutions for clients Insurance requirements.
Responsible for scaling business from portfolio clients.
Handle the P&L at client
and portfolio level and achieve monthly and annual targets of sales and profitability.
Provide advisory to existing and potential clients.
He / She will have excellent negotiation skills, to be able to talk to insurers to customize the
products as per requirements of the clients.
Coordinate with the empaneled insurers for getting quotes as and when required to assist in
the new client account closure.
Coordinate with tech and operations team to ensure client onboarding is done smoothly.
