Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive ECU hardware for body electronics, powertrain, and vehicle control systems.
- Create and review hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection for automotive applications.
- Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and support hardware risk assessment activities.
- Develop hardware solutions compliant with automotive reliability, safety, and EMC requirements.
- Validate and troubleshoot CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, and other hardware communication interfaces.
- Perform EMC/EMI analysis, testing, and issue resolution during product development.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Automotive Hardware Design.
- Strong experience in ECU Hardware Design and Automotive Electronics.
- Hands-on experience with PCB Design and schematic development.
- Good knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Experience with CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, and embedded communication interfaces.
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI principles, testing, and compliance.
- Experience in thermal management, heating drivers (PWM), and ECU cooling systems.
- Knowledge of semiconductor technologies, reliability, and mission profile analysis.
- Familiarity with automotive design standards including VW80000 or equivalent.
- Experience with hardware design tools, simulation software, and laboratory test equipment.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
