Automation Testing-UFT Subcontractor

Area(s) of responsibility

Role - UFT Lead

 

Responsibilities:

 

•            Perform a feasibility study for automation tools and frameworks

•            Develop / update framework as per project needs.

•            Stakeholder management

•            Presenting DSR, WSR, MSR and other matrices.

•            Script Design and Architecture (UFT)

•            Test Suite optimization

•            Test Scripts review and improvement

•            Should have defect tracking tool experience (For ex. JIRA tool)

•            Perform POCs.

•            Should have ERP knowledge and ERP testing experience. (Oracle EBS or JDE)

•            Work with Delivery manager to set up and maintain testing process.

•            Mentor Team Members

•            Test Management (Estimation, Timelines, Resources, Execution and Delivery)

•            Design Test Strategy & Test Plan and Implement the same.

 

 

Role - UFT Developer

 

Responsibilities:

 

•            Development of automated test scripts using UFT

•            Execution of Test Automation scripts using different add-ins like .Net, Oracle, Java etc.

•            Configure required Toolset

•            Identify, report, and manage test cases that are candidates for automation and regression in line with NOV practices.

•            Experience in making Test Artifacts like Test Scripts, and Test Cases etc.

•            Experience in building Functional Automation Framework, Parametrization.

•            Developing & maintaining automation test scripts for NOV ERP and non-ERP systems.

•            JIRA tool knowledge
