Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks and ensuring the quality of modern web, cloud, and microservices-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Create and execute UI, API, regression, and integration test suites.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and product quality.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or equivalent frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and performance testing tools.
• Exposure to AI-powered testing tools and automation practices.
