Role Description Automation Engineer

Preferred Location: Chennai

Experience: 5-10 Years Experience

Must Have:

• Experience in test automation and building frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on development experience with Typescript and JavaScript or Typescript based automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with the Playwright OR Cypress automation framework.
• Experience with backend API automation.
• Proficient with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
• Strong understanding of software test automation best practices.

Preferred:

• Experience with API testing using Bruno or Postman is preferred.
• Experience with AWS and building CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
• Familiarity with handling sensitive data (HIPAA, PCI, PII compliance) is preferred.
• Knowledge of e-commerce and point of sale hardware testing is preferred.
• Experience in security/penetration, performance, and load testing.
